How to size a set
You choose two sizes for each set: a waist size for the trousers and a shirt size. Measure your waist where your trousers sit and compare it with the chart on the product page. For the shirt, use your usual US shirt size; if you are broad in the shoulders or between sizes, go up one. The socks fit most adult calves. If the trousers or shirt do not fit, unworn items with tags can be exchanged within 30 days of delivery under our returns and exchanges policy.
Styling and care tips
Wear the shirt tucked in with the sleeves rolled to just below the elbow, and set the suspenders so the trousers sit at your natural waist. Brush the leather after each wear, hang it to air and wash the shirt and socks according to their care labels. Buying for a group? Each set has two size options: a waist size for the trousers and a shirt size. Measure your waist where your trousers sit and compare it with the size chart, then choose your usual shirt size. If you are between sizes, choose the larger one.
Are your sets real leather or costumes?
They are real outfits, not costumes. The trousers are genuine cow suede, goatskin or deerskin with embroidery, and the shirts and socks are proper Trachten pieces. They are made to be worn for many seasons, not thrown away after one party.
Can I exchange one piece of a set?
Yes. If the trousers or the shirt do not fit, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will exchange the unworn item for another size. Please keep the tags attached and return the piece in its original packaging.
